PTStatus Version 1.2.6 (4/04/13) ------------------------------------------ -Added Print Head Life Remaining Percentage Gauge - Print Head Life is calculated by tracking the number of cartridges used in the print head. A print head is considered to be at zero life remaining after 26 black or 32 combined color cartridges. Print heads may still be used after there is zero life remaining. However, it could fail at any moment. Therefore, it is recommended that users purchase a back up print head at approximately 10% life remaining. Print heads with less than zero percent life remaining cannot be replaced under warranty. Print head life remaining is stored on the print head itself and can be read on multiple other computers - not just the computer which actually printed using that particular print head. Note: If the print head life indicator is not displayed click the refresh button next to the Magenta ink display. -Fixed a problem on some computers where multiple instances of the status monitor would appear at the start of every new job when any language except English was selected. -Added USB Identifications change setting. This can be found by clicking the "i" icon and then choosing App Options - USB Serial. This displays the current serial number and allows you to change it to 1 - 9. Click Set to change it. Use this feature to install multiple printers on the same computer. Once set is clicked, unplug USB, when you plug in USB again, a new driver (Copy 1) will be installed or you will be prompted to install the driver. - A note was added to the ink display screen that says "Ink supply percentages are approximate. We have found that ink percentages can have some unavoidable variability. - Add note to cost calculation screen to "Print at least two copies to receive an accurate quote." - Simplified purge procedure by separating it from the test print after. There are now two separate buttons for "Clean Printhead" and "Test Print". - Fix crash that occurred when sending the Clean Purge Print on some Windows XP computers. - Fixed some translation issues. - Fixed problem where status monitor would open after every page of a multipage job.
